VAULT 2014: Tickets Live

Tickets for our very own VAULT Festival in 2014 are now on sale!   The million-handed machine that whirs deep within VAULT is coming to life.   You won’t find any other festival for 6 continuous weeks, in Central London, offering this range of attractions, at this price, anywhere else – surprisingly! It’s unique and it’s made for you.   We are so proud of our headline shows: Hunter S Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and The Cement Garden, an adaptation of Ian McEwan’s first novel. The tickets are available here and the productions are shaping up to be really special. Join us in the first week and be the first to see these landmark shows!   Mat and I are really pleased to announce that Andy George joins us as Head of Production. He’s worked with us a good few times now and we trust him totally to deliver almost anything that our hosted companies can throw at him – and with a credit list that includes You Me Bum Bum Train and Secret Cinema, we’ve got one of the best new names in the business.   VAULT is our largest enterprise ever. It’s slightly terrifying to be aiming this high, and taking this much risk on, but at the heart of it remains a real belief that we’re doing something magic, and something difficult. To offer a platform to this many people, and in a way that strives at every turn to be egalitarian and open and fair, is hugely rewarding. Even if we fall flat on our faces.   Book your tickets here. VAULT 2014

We’re extremely proud to announce the return of the VAULT Festival in 2014.   VAULT is a six week all-arts festival in central London starting in late January 2014. With thousands of tickets onsale over a broad range of attractions, the festival builds on the enormous success of the first Vault, in February 2012. With top-name attractions, drama, comedy and late-night gigs, right down to one-night-events, the program promises to be thrilling and varied.   VAULT Festival is a magical playground right in central London. No other Festival or major venue has ever been able to compete with the incredible atmosphere and geography of the venue, combined with our close relationship and history with the space. Last VAULT we sold over 80% of our tickets. With attractions like Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas topping a multi-disciplinary and diverse playbill, we think we should be able to outdo that in 2014. Praise for VAULT 2012: “AMAZING” – TIME OUT LONDON “WHEN SOMETHING AS ENTERTAINING AS VAULT COMES ALONG, YOU SHOULD BE THERE.” – SHORTLIST “A PANOPLY OF ALTERNATIVE ARTS DELIGHTS” – THE GUARDIAN GUIDE “ALICE’S RABBIT HOLE WASN’T NEARLY AS PROLIFIC AS THIS… A HEADY BREW OF THE SWEETLY INVENTIVE AND BRAZENLY ORIGINAL.” – METRO “A FULL AND VARIED PROGRAMME… AS WELL AS ENTERTAINING, A LOT OF THIS WILL TEACH, EDUCATE AND DEVELOP PEOPLE TOO BECAUSE THERE’S NOTHING MAINSTREAM, ABOUT ANY OF IT.” – THE STAGE Watch this space and www.VAULTFESTIVAL.com for line-up announcements and more in the coming...

Silent Opera – To Hell And Back!

“Startlingly well sung and theatrically inventive” – Evening Standard We were Executive Producers for Silent Opera: L’Orfeo over the last six months and now the show is closed. We raised a budget of £140,000 to deliver our largest scale project to date. With a team of hundreds of talented singers, musicians, craftsmen and technicians, we put on a show that was nothing short of spectacular. Under the creative direction of Silent Opera founder Daisy Evans, the show took place 17 times in February at Trinity Buoy Wharf (in some of the coldest weather we’ve had over a very cold winter!). “Audiences enraptured by this vital new setting” – whatsonstage More press quotes and production photos can be found on their website, but our interest in the piece was universally recognised – Silent Opera, which employs digital technology to revitalise opera, and to reconnect a great art form with a public interest, is an exciting company. We are proud to say that under our guidance for their last three shows, Silent Opera have retained their place as one of the most innovative companies working in opera. And what’s more, our Creative Producership has ensured that over half the audience are under 30, and the same ratio are attending their first ever live classical experience. We have been examining the next routes to go down with Silent Opera and will stay updated here on our...
